Doctor of Medicine, sportsman, rowing team coach, sports medicine specialist, for over 30 years a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology. Multiply awarded healthcare leader – twice as "Healthcare Manager" (2002, 2014) and "OSOZ 2009 Leader ". Honored with the Order of Polonia Restituta, Officer’s Cross, the Gold Cross of Merit, the Medal of Merit to Health Protection and the "Meritorious to Warsaw" Decoration.
In 1977, after earning his MD in the Faculty of Medicine at Warsaw Medical Academy, he joins the staff of the Central Sports Medicine Clinic in Warsaw and gains specialization in the area of orthopedic trauma surgery; he becomes a physician for the Polish national wrestling team and in 1979 for the national rowing team; 11 years later he obtains specialization in sports medicine. Since 1981 he is a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology.
In 1982 he begins work in the II Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of Warsaw Medical Academy in Karowa Street as a member of academic staff. In 1983 he becomes a grade 1, and 4 years later, a grade 2 specialist in obstetrics and gynecology.
On 2nd January 1992 he wins a competition for the position of a director of St. Sophia’s Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital in Żelazna Street in Warsaw, the position he still holds today, which makes him the longest-tenured hospital director in Warsaw. When working in St. Sophia’s Hospital, he completes Managerial Studies in Health Economics and Master Degree Studies in Marketing Management.
It’s under his leadership that the Hospital is transformed from a budgetary unit into the first independent healthcare facility in Mazovia. It becomes increasingly appreciated and popular with patients. Over 26 years, since Dr. Wojciech Puzyna assumed his managerial responsibilities, 101000 children have been born here – far more than in other maternity hospitals in Warsaw and Mazovia.
When on 31st December 2012 the Hospital is transformed into "Żelazna" Medical Center LLC, Dr. Wojciech Puzyna is appointed Chairman of its Management Board.

Work experience: Legal Department of the Ministry of Environment; Statutory Department of the Lower Silesian Polish Red Cross District Board. Organizational and Supervisory Department of the Municipal Social Welfare Center in Wrocław.
She joined St. Sophia’s Specialist Hospital staff in 2004. In 2008 she was appointed Deputy Administrative Manager. Since January 2013 she has been a member of "Żelazna" Medical Center Management Board and the Administrative Director.
Married, mum of two children who were born in St. Sophia’s Specialist Hospital.
